Erasmus Hall not only got the result it was looking for last game, but the team outscored its opponent Fort Hamilton in every quarter. Everything went Erasmus Hall's way against Fort Hamilton as it secured a 45 - 8 win. The MaxPreps rankings were spot on as they projected Erasmus Hall as the clear winner. Thanks to its success, Erasmus Hall cracked into the power rankings and now occupies the 22nd spot.

St. Anthony's's 56 - 32 win over Cardinal Hayes last week had a lot to do with the leadership of senior Greg Campisi. Campisi tossed the ball for 302 yards and four TDs. In fact, our algorithms singled out Campisi as one of the top players in the power rankings for the week.

The battle between Queensbury (ranked 9th in the MaxPreps state rankings) and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (ranked 31st) turned out to be a somewhat underwhelming competition. Queensbury blew past Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 42 - 21. The win boosted Queensbury a satisfying 12 spots in the power rankings.

Monsignor Farrell fell 273 yards shy of Archbishop Stepinac in their game last week, so the final result shouldn't be a surprise. Monsignor Farrell received a tough blow as it fell 35 - 17 to Archbishop Stepinac. The quarterback felt the defeat most of all -- literally. After four sacks, he is probably hoping to get a little more protection in the future. The rough outing dragged Monsignor Farrell down 15 positions in the power rankings -- the largest fall of the week.
