The Windsor Locks Raiders had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against East Windsor by a score of  41-32  on Friday. The  win was just what Windsor Locks needed coming off of a  57-31 defeat in their prior  game.
 Windsor Locks' win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Jasmine Hurdle, who  scored 15 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Hurdle has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maeve McGinnis, who  scored 11 points along with eight  rebounds.
 When it comes to explaining why East Windsor lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Bailey Winner. Despite the final result, she  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds and four  blocks. That was a full 50% of East Windsor's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Nohely Santana, who  scored three points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Windsor Locks' win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for East Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor Locks will  take on East Granby at 6:45  p.m.  on Thursday. East Granby's defense has only allowed 28  points per game this season, so Windsor Locks' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for East Windsor, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Somers at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Connecticut (Somers is ranked 52nd, while East Windsor is ranked 63rd).
