Luis Murillo was a major factor in Gridley's win over Corning on Tuesday. Murillo scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Murillo's strong effort led Gridley over Corning and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are 9-1 against the Cardinals going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
