Mount Airy Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Perry Hall Christian, falling 46-16. Mount Airy Christian Academy was down 32-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Mount Airy Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Reaghan Sizemore, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Mount Airy Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.4 points per game. As for Perry Hall Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, Mount Airy Christian Academy and Perry Hall Christian will both be playing Maryland School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. Mount Airy Christian Academy will head out to face Maryland School for the Deaf at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Perry Hall Christian will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
