Basketball Recap: Loyal Wins Going Away Against Spencer

After losing to Spencer the last time they met, Loyal decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Loyal Greyhounds were the clear victor by a 47-26 margin over the Spencer Rockets on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Greyhounds.

Loyal's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Spencer, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loyal will head out to challenge Neillsville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neillsville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Loyal likes a good challenge. As for Spencer, they are taking a road trip to take on Colby at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Spencer is facing Colby at the right time seeing as Colby is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
