Kirtland strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chagrin Falls Tigers 45-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Hornets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Tigers are ranked 568th).
John Silvestro continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 105 yards and one TD on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards. Another back making a difference was Ty Bledsoe, who rushed for 76 yards and one score on only seven carries.
Kirtland's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Chagrin Falls, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
