After two weeks on the road, Riverside Prep is heading back home. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Excelsior Charter at 7:00 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup.
After soaring to 36 points the game before, Riverside Prep faltered in their contest two weeks ago. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-42 to Big Bear. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Excelsior Charter, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They fell to Silver Valley 26-33. Excelsior Charter were down by 6-33 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
