Baseball Game Preview: Emmanuel Christian Warriors vs. Port Clinton Redskins

The Emmanuel Christian Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Port Clinton Redskins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Emmanuel Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Emmanuel Christian will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Northwood on Thursday. Karston Kickbusch was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He is becoming a predictor of Emmanuel Christian's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 4-1 (and 0-4 when he doesn't).
