It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Corona can now relate to. They took  a  13-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redondo Union Sea Hawks on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 38  points in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.
 Corona didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Kaelyn Bossenmeyer and  Mackenzie Mendenhall. Mendenhall is also on a roll when it comes to  defended passes, as she's  now  defended  at least one in the last eight games she's  played.
 Corona's defeat  ended  a  12-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 13-8. As for Redondo Union, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home.
 Corona does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redondo Union, they will challenge Long Beach Poly at 5:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average, (Long Beach Poly: 14.1, Redondo Union: 5.4) so any  points scored will be well earned.
