Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monroeville). They breezed by the Danbury Lakers to the tune of 86-55 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 71-64 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Monroeville's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Danbury, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Monroeville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Crestview at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Danbury, they will be home for the holidays to greet New Riegel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Danbury has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
