The Bethlehem Center Bulldogs will challenge the New Brighton Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Brighton took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bethlehem Center, who comes in off a win.
Bethlehem Center took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with an 11-8 victory over Frazier. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bethlehem Center got a big performance out of Luke Amon, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. The Bulldogs are 4-1 when Amon posts two or more runs, but 2-10 otherwise. Ashten Pinkney was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.
Bethlehem Center always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, New Brighton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Neshannock.
Vernon Krepps spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 12 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, New Brighton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Jackson, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was Jaxson Zahn, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
New Brighton's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Bethlehem Center, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
Bethlehem Center came out on top in a nail-biter against New Brighton when the teams last played back in May of 2019, sneaking past 4-3. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
