Despite the loss, Washington School for the Deaf saw an underclassman step up: Nathan Yerkes scored 15 points along with eight steals. Yerkes is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Robinson, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Mossyrock's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Washington School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
