St. Michael came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Little River Academy Bumblebees. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Ellie Ogden paced St. Michael's offense, picking up eight kills. Ogden got some help from Frances Beiter and her 11 assists. Frida Hernandez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

St. Michael's record is now 5-2. As for Little River Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

St. Michael's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Vandegrift on the 16th. As for Little River Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Giddings on the 16th.
