Beddingfield is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Eastern Wayne is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Beddingfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Natasha Marshall, who scored 15 points along with five assists and five steals. Marshall is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of TJohnna Harris, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Eastern Wayne stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Spring Creek 55-29. The score was close at the half, but Eastern Wayne pulled away in the second half with 39 points.
Beddingfield has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Eastern Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1.
Beddingfield strolled past Eastern Wayne when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 48-34. Will Beddingfield repeat their success, or does Eastern Wayne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
