Spring Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Southland, the  victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.
 Looking ahead, Spring Grove will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Mabel-Canton  at 3:30  p.m. As for Southland, they are taking a road trip to  face off against Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
