Jesuit has gone a perfect 10-0 against Davis Sr. recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Marauders will be playing at home against the Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jesuit has three straight wins, Davis Sr. has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Last Wednesday, Jesuit made easy work of Granite Bay and carried off a 3-0 victory.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Jesuit can attribute much of their success to Naryan Banerjee, who had 11 digs and five assists, and Nicolas Hill-Gaston, who hit 77.8% for 14 kills and eight digs and three aces. Those 77.8% hitting percentage gave Hill-Gaston a new career-high.
They weren't the only ones working in the hitting percentage department: Jesuit couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 41.4% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Davis Sr. lost 3-0 to Whitney on Wednesday.
Davis Sr. was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Whitney work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-18, 25-18.
Jesuit will have to contain Ryan Buzbee as he made an impact in Davis Sr.'s last game. He had 13 digs and one assist.
Davis Sr.'s defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Jesuit, they pushed their record up to 13-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
Jesuit took their victory against Davis Sr. when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Marauders repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
