Basketball Recap: Maple River Drops Season-High Score on Minnesota Valley Lutheran

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maple River). They were the clear victor by an 85-60 margin over the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers on Tuesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Maple River has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9.
