Badger was led to victory by Gabriella Miller and Katie Grexa. Miller scored 17 points along with 4 steals, while Grexa dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. The match was Grexa's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Avery Rice, who scored 5 points.
Badger now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Maplewood, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.
Badger will head out on the road to face off against Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mathews is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Maplewood, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bristol at 5:30 p.m.
