The DASH United lost against the New Life Camp Storm back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. DASH was beaten by New Life Camp 77-39. DASH has struggled against New Life Camp recently, as their contest on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
DASH lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josh Taylor, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Jason Judd, who scored 11 points.
DASH has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for New Life Camp, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DASH will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Oak Forest at 7:15 p.m. on February 3rd. Oak Forest is coming into the matchup with three straight losses at home, so DASH is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for New Life Camp, they will head out on the road to face off against South Wake at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. New Life Camp will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 430th, while South Wake is ranked 189th).
