The Dominion Christian Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Furtah Prep 59-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Dominion Christian also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Leading Dominion Christian to victory were Emory Maiyer and Elizabeth Johnson. Maiyer scored 17 points along with six assists and four steals, while Johnson dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least 25% of Dominion Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Norah Lytle, who scored eight points.
Dominion Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Furtah Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Dominion Christian will head out on the road to face off against Cristo Rey Atlanta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Furtah Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Heritage Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. Heritage Preparatory is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
