The result came thanks to Kailey Rushman's shutout, as she gave up just one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
On the hitting side, Jordan Finley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Addi Kent also deserves some recognition as she stolen her first stolen base of the season.
Gunnison now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Strasburg, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.
