Baseball Recap: Trinity Valley Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Trinity Valley barely beat DasCHE the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Trinity Valley Trojans' way against the DasCHE Spartans on Wednesday as the Trinity Valley Trojans made off with a 13-3 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Trojans needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Jayden Lopez was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season. Hub Nickels was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Trinity Valley hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as DasCHE struck out eight times.

Trinity Valley moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for DasCHE, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against South Hills at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for DasCHE, they will take on North Texas C at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Texas C is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.7 runs per game this season.
