Basketball Recap: Northwest Christian Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Puget Sound Adventist came into Monday's contest looking for another win against Northwest Christian, but Jack Vahey wouldn't allow it. The Northwest Christian Wolverines came out on top in a nail-biter against the Puget Sound Adventist Sharks on Monday, sneaking past 47-45 thanks in part to Vahey, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played.

Dan Babber was another key player, going 7 for 17 on his way to 17 points in addition to five assists and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Northwest Christian's points.

Northwest Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game.
