The J.F. Webb Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Franklin Academy  61-57. Even though they lost, J.F. Webb's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.9 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
 When it comes to explaining why J.F. Webb lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Jabari Hunter. Despite the final result, he  scored 18 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Daniel Wright, who  scored 15 points along with four  steals.
 Leading Franklin Academy to victory were  Tyler Pace and  Hayes Lewis.  Pace  scored 18 points, while  Lewis  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 15  rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which  Pace has scored at least 25% of Franklin Academy's points.  Julian Young was another key contributor,  scoring seven points along with five  rebounds.
 J.F. Webb's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Franklin Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
 J.F. Webb won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against C.B. Aycock at 9:30  a.m.  on December 30, 2023. C.B. Aycock presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than J.F. Webb in North Carolina (C.B. Aycock is ranked 266th, while J.F. Webb is ranked 589th). Franklin Academy won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Franklinton at 12:30  p.m.  on December 30, 2023. Franklinton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 200 points over their last three games.
