Shelley lost to Madison back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Russets walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Bobcats.
Macie Winder made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up six earned runs off three hits. Winder was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Vienna Oats was incredible, going 1-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Carlie Hurd was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
