Harpeth Hall won the last time they faced Hillsboro and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Honeybears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Burros. The contest marked the Honeybears' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Harpeth Hall not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hillsboro between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, Hillsboro saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eden Merryman had eight digs and two aces. Merryman has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Harpeth Hall has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Having lost for the first time this season, Hillsboro fell to 3-1.

Coming up, Harpeth Hall will challenge Independence at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillsboro, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cane Ridge on the 28th.
