Football Recap: Geneva Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Geneva Classical Academy lost against Donahue Catholic back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights took a blow against the Shamrocks, falling 41-6.

Despite the defeat, Geneva Classical Academy had strong showings from Bennett Bayhan, who picked up 109 receiving yards and one score, and Clay Lindsay, who threw for 135 yards and one TD. Bayhan's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 104 receiving yards dating back to last season.

Geneva Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Geneva Classical Academy will challenge Legacy Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Donahue Catholic, they will square off against Foundation Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Shamrocks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
