Josh Gonzalez posted a new career-high in runs on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has become a key player for Wayne Valley: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise.

Coming up, Gonzalez and Wayne Valley will square off against Northern Highlands at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Highlanders will enter the matchup having just beaten Westwood, so the Indians will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
