Giovanna Gottfried put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
