North Bay Haven Academy barely beat Crestview the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Buccaneers blew past the Bulldogs 17-1 on Tuesday. Addison Mallon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Bailee Gladden and Kaylee Goodpaster did most of the damage at the plate: Gladden went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Goodpaster went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The Royals will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
