Jackson-Reed's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Coolidge 19-0. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Potomac School put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. Everything went their way against Maret as they made off with a 15-0 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Frogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Potomac School's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Jackson-Reed, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.
Jackson-Reed might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Potomac School in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
