The Genesee Wolves scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 70-43 victory over Bendle. Genesee has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 27 points or more this season.
Genesee found their leader in underclassman Averie Zinn, who dropped a double-double on 50 points and 15 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zinn has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazmine Ross, who scored 11 points along with eight steals and five rebounds.
Genesee has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Bendle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
Genesee will be playing in front of their home fans against Beecher at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bendle, they will head out on the road to challenge New Standard Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. New Standard Academy is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
