The Twin Lakes Indians came tearing into Saturday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past West Lafayette 64-44. Twin Lakes has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.
Jamison Ousley was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Condo, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Twin Lakes pushed their record up to 10-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for West Lafayette, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Lakes will take on Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Northwestern is ranked 172nd, while Twin Lakes is ranked 160th). As for West Lafayette, they will head out on the road to take on North Montgomery at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Montgomery is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
