Bruce won against Palmer  last Thursday with 20  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. The Trojans didn't even let the Water Valley Blue Devils on the board, marking the Trojans' second-straight  20-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six matchups by 12  runs or more  so far this season.
 Sammie Gunter made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.  Bruce  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .735. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Water Valley only posted  an  OBP of  .182.

The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Water Valley,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-10.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bruce will take on Calhoun City at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 10.9  runs per game this season.
