On Friday Victoria West's undefeated season almost came to an end. They had just enough and edged out the Tivy Antlers 59-56. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
Jenesis Jeffries had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 202 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also catching one touchdown. Nolan Boyce was another key player, throwing for 139 yards and one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Victoria West was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 447 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 160 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Victoria West didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tay'Vian Peoples and Kevin Cupp. Another thorn in Tivy's side was Jacob Freeman, who picked up two sacks and made 11 total tackles.

Victoria West's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Tivy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.
