The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons entered their tilt with the Alameda Hornets with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Bishop O'Dowd claimed a resounding 83-47 victory over Alameda at home. With Bishop O'Dowd ahead 46-22 at the half, the match was all but over already.
It was another big night for Joshua Green, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Johnson, who scored 13 points.
Bishop O'Dowd pushed their record up to 14-6 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Alameda, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
Bishop O'Dowd will head out on the road to challenge Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alameda, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Castro Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Castro Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 438th, while Alameda is ranked 124th).
