Silver Bluff has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Pelion Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Silver Bluff came up short against Strom Thurmond and fell 43-35. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Silver Bluff has scored all season.
Despite their defeat, Silver Bluff saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Gerald Lark jr., who scored five points along with ten rebounds and five steals, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Justin Perry, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Pelion's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 52-42 to Batesburg-Leesville. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pelion in their matchups with Batesburg-Leesville: they've now lost five in a row.
Silver Bluff's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-10. As for Pelion, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
