A well-balanced attack led Clint over Ysleta in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. The Clint Lions were the clear victor by a 52-28 margin over the Ysleta Indians. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.
Clint had a senior duo take command as Chloe Arredondo almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds and Anabella Portillo posted eight points along with 12 boards and four steals. That's the most points Arredondo has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Annika Rueda, who earned nine points.
Clint was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ysleta only posted five assists.
Clint's win bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Ysleta, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record this season.
