The Filer Wildcats waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They snuck past Kimberly with a 44-38 win. That's another feather in the cap for Filer, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Filer's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alli Bishop led the charge by scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Kate Jaques, who scored five points along with nine steals.
Despite the loss, Kimberly still got an impressive performance from Macy Dille, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Tarissa Plew was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Filer's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Kimberly, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.
Filer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kimberly also has no future games currently scheduled.
