The Tri Titans will square off against the Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Tri had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Eastern Hancock on Wednesday. The Titans put the hurt on the Royals with a sharp 12-1 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, Lyla Williams was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Rylan Mathews, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
Tri always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern Hancock only posted an OBP of .222.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory). Everything went their way against Pike on Wednesday as they made off with a 21-1 win. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Like Tri, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory also got a great game from a two-way player: Georgie Kelich. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kelich was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory let Maddie Roesner and Lila Epstein run wild. Roesner went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Epstein got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Sydney Shaw was another key player, earning two RBI and one run.
Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Tri, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.
Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Tri has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.7 hits per game. It's a different story for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, though, as they've been averaging 9.1 hits. Given Tri's sizable advantage in that area, the Braves will need to find a way to close that gap.
