Eielson had to kick off their season on the road, but showed no ill effects. They took their game against North Pole on Saturday by a conclusive 55-34 score. This was the first game for both teams, giving Eielson a 1-0 record and starting North Pole off at 0-1.
Next week, Eielson takes on West Valley at 1:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Eielson and West Valley will really light up the scoreboard. As for North Pole, they will face of against Soldotna.
