Baseball Recap: Frederick Extends Winning Streak to Three

Frederick won against Merritt on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Bombers beat the Hobart Bearcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-2. Winning may never get old, but the Bombers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Frederick's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Hobart, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Frederick will host Cordell at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bombers will need to watch out since the Blue Devils have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Hobart, they will venture away from home to challenge Riverside Indian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Bearcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
