The Gary Bobcats won the last time they faced the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets, and things went their way on Thursday too. Gary claimed a resounding 40-9 victory over Elysian Fields on the road.
Despite the loss, Elysian Fields still got an impressive performance from Kerrigan Love, who scored seven points.
Gary's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Elysian Fields, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
Gary will face off against San Augustine at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Elysian Fields won't have much time to rest: their next game is against West Rusk at 2:15 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully West Rusk focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday.
