Clay Center entered their tilt with Beloit on Saturday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

Lily Edwards paced Clay Center's offense, picking up nine kills. Edwards got some help from Raicee Lipker and her 24 assists. Molly McGee controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Clay Center's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Beloit, their loss dropped their record down to 22-6.

Clay Center wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Riley County on the 4th. As for Beloit, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Nemaha Central on the 4th.
