After soaring high against Maquoketa Valley last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Cascade lost to Waukon by a decisive 21-40 margin. Cascade were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Waukon apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up.
The loss dropped Cascade back to even at 2-2. The win bumped Waukon's record up to 3-1.
Next week Cascade take on North Cedar at 7:00 PM. Waukon will look to defend their home turf against Monticello at 7:30 PM. Monticello had less luck in their last match and are out to reverse Waukon's good fortune.
