Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buford). Their defense stepped up to hand the Chester Cyclones an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Buford, who have now won six matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Chester from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Payton Bowers led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory made it two in a row for Buford and bumps their season record up to 13-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Chester, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.
