Southside Christian only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 33-point they dealt the Chargers on Friday. Southside Christian blew past the Chargers, posting a 64-31 victory at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Southside Christian.
Luke Boush continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Southside Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Evans, who scored 17 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Jacksonville Christian Academy suffered a tough 69-45 defeat at the hands of the Tigers on Friday. Jacksonville Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The win got Southside Christian back to even at 9-9. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
Southside Christian was taken down by the Conquerors 58-25 in their previous matchup back in November of 2021.
