Sacred Heart can now show off 19 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 101-31 victory over Summit Christian Academy. With Sacred Heart ahead 57-15 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Nic Angerstein was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 12 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Andrew Steffek was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 16 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cornerstone Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 59-54 to Regents. Cornerstone Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losing side was boosted by Benjamin Wagner, who scored 23 points along with three blocks. Another player making a difference was Xander Parra, who scored 16 points.
Sacred Heart has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Cornerstone Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-12.
