The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mifflin County, who took down 103rd ranked Central Dauphin East, 15-12. Heath Hidlay threw for 76 yards and one touchdown and ran for 65 yards in the win.
The Huskies moved up to 149 from 188 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mid-Penn - Commonwealth. Mifflin County climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Panthers 15-12.
Brandon Lavia provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Central Dauphin topped Cumberland Valley. He completed 13 passes for 127 yards and also ran for 68 yards. Lavia's favorite target this week was Jordan Bowman, who caught seven passes for 91 yards.
Drew Scales was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 163 yards as the Rams topped the Eagles.
pat irwin put up the best numbers through the air as State College beat Carlisle. He finished with a total of eight completions for 95 yards and two touchdowns. Irwin's favorite target this week was sean king, who caught two passes for 42 yards.
6-foot-3 quarterback irwin of the Little Lions is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1031. He has also thrown 11 touchdowns. On the ground, Central Dauphin's Scales has rushed for 857 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Bowman. The Central Dauphin star has 26 catches for 390 yards.
A big matchup in Mid-Penn - Commonwealth this week will be when Cumberland Valley takes on Harrisburg. At the moment, Tim Rimpfel's team is in fourth, while the Cougars are in third.
Glen McNamee's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Eagles, 35-28. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Rams.
