Auburn Riverside (Auburn, Wash.) 48-38 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
John Thompson to
Connor Reopelle in the first quarter, the Braves led 28-10 at the half.
Bethel saw its 18-point halftime lead fall to 12 entering the fourth.
The Ravens'
Kevin Thomsen played well. The junior quarterback threw four touchdowns and ran for one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to 12 on the year.
BHS's standout player in the win was Thompson. The junior threw one touchdown, ran for two touchdowns and caught one touchdown.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Spanaway school, which was coming off a 34-14 defeat at the hands of Beamer in its previous game.
